Yvonne White-Morey

As the CEO and Principal Grant Strategist, I’m privileged to work alongside some of the most talented individuals and inspiring clients in the world. I’m a lifelong Girl Scout, and I can't imagine a world without the transformative power of libraries, museums, parks, gardens, theatres, performers, musicians, dancers, and the schools that nurture their talent. I’m equally passionate about hospitals, daycares, environmental justice advocates, and all those on the ground working tirelessly to make the world a better place for millions of people and the planet.

As a grant professional and nonprofit consultant, I have the unique opportunity to combine my expertise from government, nonprofit, and private sector work with faith-based and community-led organizations. I take immense pride in helping others do meaningful work that contributes to a more just and compassionate world.

I’m a proud member of the Grant Professionals Association (GPA), the GPA Chicago Area Chapter, and currently serve as a board member and Programs Co-Chair. In 2024, I will have the honor of serving as President of the Chicago Area Chapter. I’m also involved in the GPA Great Lakes Virtual Chapter, the Association of Consultants to Nonprofits, the Chicago Conservation Corps, and the Climate Reality Project Leader for the Chicago Metro Chapter. Additionally, I’m a trained public engagement interpreter for the Chicago Academy of Sciences Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum.

When I’m not immersed in grants, nonprofit consulting, proposal development, or advocating for character and impact, I enjoy the ever-changing beauty of the Midwestern seasons, especially the crisp charm of Autumn and Winter. You’ll often find me curled up with a hot cup of tea, a cozy mystery, and the company of either my exuberant Hurricane Maria rescue dog, Rico, or my frolicking feline Co-Director of Work/Life Balance, Selina Kyle (aka Cat Woman).
